I’m blessed with an amazing and supportive wife, an active and ornery red-head, and a great family, group of friends, coworkers, and church.
I directly coach 40+ people in my role as Director at a large food company and find an indescribable amount of fulfillment in building them up to be better people – not just better employees. I attempt to challenge them through teaching, coaching, and mentoring; thus preventing issues instead of reacting to problems.
I also serve as a Deacon in a congregation in Central California where I’m blessed to work with both the teens and young professionals to help coach them to grow as individuals and help set them up for future work in the church.
I find fulfillment in serving and helping others become a better version themselves. My attitude towards my life as a Christian, Husband, Father, Employee, and Employer is best summarized by James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits. He has identified that our actions and habits are a reflection of our identity:
“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become. No single instance will transform your beliefs, but as the votes build up, so does the evidence of your identity.
-James Clear”
